Tis the holiday season

Xmas means many things to many people. Why this time of year seams to be a time for conclusions is a mystery. The markets slow down, people go on holidays, and shops close down. One would think it should be the start of something new. A new beginning, a fresh start and a time for changes. Perhaps that’s why we invented the year. But the time in between seems like such a waste. Celebrations, gift wrapping thrown away, money spent never to be recovered. A waste. Perhaps this Xmas might be different. Begin something new and avoid the waste. Well wishes are never wasted on those close to the heart.

The Election is on !

No matter who you vote for in an election, you usually only think about the immediate implications for yourself. Natural enough. Next time, how about looking at the long term effects of bring in new ideas. Not that this will mean that the new idea is good or bad, but consider the effects of the idea. Greenhouse gas and the implications for the climate. It’s probably not going to effect you directly, but it could have major implications for your next generations. There are some who say the climate debate is full of false assumptions, and they may be right. So consider this when voting.

Thoughts to Prosperity and Wealth

If one wishes to demonstrate prosperity he must first have a consciousness of prosperity; if he wishes health he must embody the idea of health. A consciousness of health, happiness and prosperity can be induced within through right mental and spiritual practice. By consciousness is meant the inner embodiment of an idea; the subjective image of the idea; the mental and spiritual equivalent of the idea.

Know your own mind; train yourself to think what you wish to think; be what you wish to be; feel what you wish to feel. Man’s conscious thought, acting through law, may change any condition in his experience, provided he can clearly conceive of that condition as being changed. There is no limit to the Law. The limit is not in the Law but in man’s ability to embody the Truth and constructively use the Law.

Never look at that which you do not wish to experience. No matter what the false condition may be, it must be refuted.

The proper kind of a denial is based upon the recognition that, in reality, there is no limitation; for mind can as easily make a planet as anything else. The Infinite knows no difference between a million dollars and a penny. It only knows that IT IS. It would be just as easy to demonstrate a million dollars as it would be to demonstrate ten cents, if the mental concept embodied the idea of a million dollars.
